The award recognises the effort Conrad has put into League Rugby in North Wales, including his support for the Wheelchair Rugby League and the Women's International Rugby League.
North Wales Crusaders are a key part of the local community, providing an opportunity to watch live sport and working with nearby amateur clubs so people of all ages can take part in rugby league. They have a strategic development partnership Wales Rugby League, the national governing body in Wales, to help create a pathway for people to take part in rugby league, whether that is as a player, coach, match official, volunteer or any other role.
The club also runs a community engagement programme with schools and hold tournaments for children in the area, with many junior and amateur sides taking part in curtain-raisers before first-team fixtures.
"Our vision is to create opportunities for all and inspire to next generation of rugby league players to go on and feature for Crusaders’ first-team."
Allan Longshadow, Joint Editor at Calon FM said "As a community radio station, we pride ourselves on the contributions our volunteers make in the local community and I would like to congratulate Conrad on behalf of his fellow directors and presenters for this fantastic achievement."
